We just hosted our first ever "I want to be a Designer" birthday party, here at Lisa Perry Madison Avenue.
It was an absolute blast!
For the party we transformed the vault downstairs into a design studio for the girls to work out of. They began the design process by creating their own inspiration boards using fashion photos from the 60’s, magazine images, POP art etc. Once their inspiration boards were complete they began sketching on silhouettes and then designing their own dresses on paper figure forms. The girls had the the most wonderful time using all sorts of fabrics, sequins, buttons, and trimmings.
At the end of the party each girl took home a portfolio of their sketches, silhouettes, final designs and inspiration boards.

The fun continued upstairs with a festive table set at the center of the store, filled with colorful plates, cups, napkins and delicious candy  galore!
We all sang happy birthday, while the birthday girl blew out her candles on a beautiful personalized VOGUE magazine cover cake.

            There is no better way than to celebrate with Lisa Perry!!!
